Hi, I'm Zoe!

I'm a writer and researcher based in Toronto. 

While attending the University of Ottawa, I was a reporter covering news, politics, culture, and community. I wrote for local publications in Ottawa, Toronto, and the Northern Bruce Peninsula, and spent two years on the editorial board of my campus publication.

After graduating in political science and history, I spent a year working in the museum sector for the Juno Beach Centre, where I produced a new permanent exhibition on contemporary Canada. 

After moving to Toronto in 2023, I completed a master's degree in contemporary international history at the University of Toronto and have since worked as a policy researcher. 

My recent research has been focused on American foreign policy, nuclear weapons, and the intersection between civilian science and the state. I am passionate about history, international affairs, nuclear non-proliferation, and promoting truth in media and politics.
